| Horse Boarding Information. River Rock Family Farm offer 24/7 care. Our barn manager has been an Veterinary Equine Technician for 20+ years. We offer large paddocks with 12' X 24' - 3 sided sheds or 12' X 12' stalls with 12' X 16' covered runs. All stalls and paddocks have automatic waters than will not freeze, but are not electric so there is no risk of horses being shocked We feed twice a day. Stalls are cleaned once per day and paddocks are cleaned 3 times per week. We feed Utah State Certified Weed Free Grass Hay. Our hay is barn stored and has never been rained on. Hay price is $10.00 per bale. We update our hay price after the latest crop is put up in the barn. This takes into account labor, fuel and fertilizer prices. We are currently full. We do have a waiting list. Boarding fees are as follows. Paddocks - $200.00 - $250.00 per month. Paid at the first of the month. Stalls - $350.00 per month. Paid at the first of the month. The River Rock Value. Most horses eat approximately 1/2 bale of grass hay per day. That works out to 15 bales per month. State Certified Weed Free Grass Hay costs $10.00 per bale 15 X $10.00 = $150.00 per month. |
